Brogdale Collections is the Home of the National Fruit Collection. Set in 150 acres of orchards we have 2,200 apple varieties alone plus hundreds of varieties of pears, plums, cherries, quince, currents, medlars and more to see. From stunning blossom to fruitful bounty right through to the frost and shine of the orchards in winter it really is a sight to be seen. Your orchard Pass lasts a whole a whole year so you will have lots to explore.
Brogdale collections enable the public to access and explore the National Fruit Collection through guided and self-guided tours. With a Brogdale Orchard Pass you can join one of our 3 times daily guided orchard tours, unlimated self guided walks, weekley guided tractor trailer tours plus entry to Pear & Plum fruit days where you can discover the informative fruit display and join a exciting Tractor trailer tour of the orchards with one of our knowledgeable guides.
Daily Guided Orchard Tours
Explore history, heritage & treasures in the orchards
Our knowledgeable guides will take you on a journey from spring blossom to fruit filled harvest. Your guide will answer questions and awaken your taste buds with samples of fruit. With over 4,000 different varieties you will never be short of something to see!
Tours run daily leaving at 11am, 1pm and 2.30pm Throughout the season (April - October). 1 hour (approx.)
Self-guided walking tours are available at any time of the day througout the year and you can spend as little or as much time as you want wandering the Brogdale pathways and enjoying the Kent countryside all through the year.
Tractor Trailer Tours
Enjoy a tractor trailer tour of the orchards led by expert guides, see the orchards from the comfort of your seat. Every Thursday at 2:30 (May - September). Suitable for visitors with limited mobility.
Children’s Orchard Trail

Brogdale Collections is a charity which works to provide public access to the collections and education of all ages with daily guided tours, special fruit days, festival, education courses and children education days for key stage 1 & 2.
The Brogdale Market Place is also free to explore with shops, café, childrens play area, accessable toilets and plenty of free parking all year round.
