Mount Ephraim Gardens

Our ten acres of gardens, are set in the heart of an 800 acre estate with magnificent views over the Swale and Thames Estuaries. The gardens feature a Japanese rock garden and bridge, water garden and lake, arboretum and a spectacular grass maze. Our elaborate and unusual topiary with a miscellany of birds, animals and First World War memorabilia sited up near the main house sit alongside our Millennium Rose Garden and herbaceous border. Early spring time is fabulous with daffodils, camellias and spring bulbs out in force.

Our West Wing Tea Room serves morning coffee and pastries, fresh cream teas, home-made cakes and delicious lunches.

Mount Ephraim has been home to the Dawes Family for over 300 years. Every time of year at Mount Ephraim Gardens brings it own distinctive pleasures and no two visits are the same.
