Kent's world famous mainline in miniature, the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway. Stretching over 13 miles across the Romney Marsh, the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway provides the opportunity to enjoy magnificent views along the route from your seat in a carriage pulled by one of our world famous Steam or Diesel engines.

Hythe Station opens at 9am.

Enjoy a day travelling the length of the Railway with a Romney Rover ticket. Each Big Weekend ticket is valid for two Romney Rovers. Begin at Hythe to enjoy the 13 1/2 mile journey towards Dungeness, passing through the seaside town of Dymchurch and the Railways headquarters at New Romney. Stop off at New Romney to visit the Toy & Model Exhibition, a must see for all ages. Catering options are available at most stations; enjoy a Southern Maid Afternoon Tea at Hythe or a fish and chip lunch at the newly refurbished End of the Line Restaurant at Dungeness.
